What SSG Deals is
SSG Deals is a cost-per-sale (CPS) marketing platform that connects three audiences: merchants who set commissions on goods or services, promoters who share deals and earn commissions, and shopping platforms that send sales data. SSG Deals is not a bank, e-wallet, or payment processor. We do not hold funds in an SSG Deals-branded account. When a shopper buys a voucher from a store, the payment is held until the voucher is redeemed or refunded. Promoter commissions are paid out through GCash, Maya, or bank transfer.
How commissions work
Each merchant sets a commission percentage for each deal. When a shopper buys, the platform calculates the split: the merchant's take, the promoter's commission, and the SSG Deals platform fee. For example, on a 15% commission, the promoter may earn 12% and SSG Deals keeps 3%. No commission is paid until the sale is complete. For store vouchers, the sale is complete when the voucher is redeemed at the counter. For orders from shopping platforms, the sale is complete when the platform confirms it was not refunded or cancelled.
The 7-day hold and refunds
After a sale, a promoter's commission is held for 7 days. During this period, if the customer returns the item or cancels the order, the commission is cancelled automatically. If 7 days pass without a refund, the commission becomes available to withdraw. For store vouchers, if a customer returns an item after redemption, refund requests are handled by the merchant and do not reverse the promoter's commission. For shopping platform orders, a refund within the 7-day hold cancels the commission; a refund after the hold is recorded as a reversal against the commission and the promoter may owe funds back to the platform.
Expired vouchers and unclaimed balances
When a customer buys a voucher, they have a minimum of 7 days to use it. If the voucher expires without redemption, the customer can request a refund during a 90-day claim window. If nobody claims the unused balance, it is released to the merchant in full. SSG Deals takes no share of the released amount — the shopper's unused balance is never kept by SSG Deals.
