What we collect
To operate the SSG Deals platform, we collect: Your mobile number (to create your promoter account and send earnings withdrawals). For shop owners who request a demo via our website form: business name, contact name, city, and the contact method you prefer (phone, messenger, or Viber). Every click and sale is recorded with the time, IP address, and browser information. Earnings records showing commissions, holds, and payouts to GCash, Maya or bank transfer.
How we use your data
We use your data to: Process your earnings and pay them out to GCash, Maya, or your bank account. Verify that sales and commissions match what merchants reported. Detect and prevent fraud (for example, duplicate orders or click injection). Comply with law and respond to lawful requests. Improve the platform based on how it is used. We do not sell your data to third parties for marketing. Payment partners (GCash, Maya, and licensed bank partners) receive only the information needed to settle your payouts.
How we protect your data
Mobile numbers are masked in our consoles (only the last 4 digits show). Your full phone number is encrypted and stored only once, identified by a hash so we can deduplicate accounts without keeping plain-text numbers in logs. Every deposit, sale, commission, and payout is recorded in an append-only ledger: amounts are never edited or deleted, and corrections are written as new lines so every change is visible. The platform validates that every peso spent adds up correctly at the centavo level. Every action taken by you, your merchant, or our team is logged with who did it, what changed, when, and the values before and after.
Data retention
Your mobile number and earnings records are retained for as long as your account is active and after for 7 years for audit and legal compliance. Merchant contact data collected from our website form may be purged after a defined period if no transaction occurs. Click and sales data is retained indefinitely to ensure the ledger remains complete and unchangeable. You may request access to or deletion of your data (except records required by law) by contacting us via Facebook Messenger.

Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act 10173), you have the right to: Access your personal data we hold. Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete. Delete data when no longer needed (subject to legal holds). Object to the processing of your data for certain purposes. Be informed of how your data is used. Request that we limit processing.
